A September to Remember?

  A September to Remember? ...or is it 'smoke and mirrors?' Even with the final day of last month ended on a weak note, the market can say that September 2010 had the greatest gains in 71 years for the 9th month. The Dow added 7.7% during the month long rally, making it the strongest September since 1939. Although you can't complain, this market has a long way to go in proving any real strength. I am not going to bore you by throwing a bunch of numbers out there, but remember, this 'honeymoon' of a run comes after a terrible August. I would hold off on treating your buddies to one of those long Vegas weekends and see if the Dow can even get close to this years high set back in April.
